Biofinity® XR 3 lenses

Biofinity XR Lenses are monthly contact lenses for correcting nearsightedness and farsightedness, created by Cooper Vision.

All-day hydration - the lenses are made from an innovative, highly hydrated material called Comfilcon A, which maintains a beneficial level of hydration throughout the day. They do not dry out and protect the eye from irritation.

High oxygen permeability - the material used is also characterized by a high permeability coefficient, which ensures the lenses provide the eyes with constant and free access to a large amount of oxygen, thus ensuring healthy and rested vision.

Resistance to contamination - the smooth and highly hydrated surface of the lenses shows great resistance to the accumulation of deposits and external contaminants. The contact lenses remain clean and imperceptible on the eye throughout the entire period of use.

Rounded edges - the improved design of the lenses is evident in even thinner, rounded edges, which minimize contact with the eyelid and make wearing the lenses even more comfortable - without unnecessary eye irritation.
 

 

Aberration neutralization system - the lenses provide high-resolution vision - sharp and clear, thanks to a special system for neutralizing spherical aberrations.

Wide power range - Biofinity XR lenses are available for people dealing with nearsightedness and farsightedness and are available in many negative and positive powers - from -20.00 to +15.00 D.

Characteristics of Biofinity® XR lenses:

Biofinity XR are monthly replacement silicone hydrogel lenses made from Comfilcon A material. In this material, water molecules are bound, ensuring that both the eye and the lens are perfectly hydrated and resistant to drying throughout their use. Biofinity XR lenses (like other lenses in the Biofinity family) are characterized by a high level of oxygen permeability (Dk/t=128), which directly impacts the excellent condition of the eyes and high comfort of wearing the lenses. Even with continuous wear (up to 7 days and 6 nights), the eyes are not red or irritated.

All lenses in the Biofinity family have a smooth, highly wettable surface resistant to deposit accumulation. The construction of Biofinity XR lenses also plays a significant role in wearing comfort. They have smooth, rounded edges that minimize interaction with the eyelids, providing maximum comfort. Biofinity XR lenses are equipped with a special system that neutralizes aberrations. It improves visual acuity by minimizing spherical aberrations, which affect both the contact lens and the human eye.

Who are Biofinity® XR lenses for?

Biofinity XR are contact lenses designed for people with significant nearsightedness and farsightedness. Biofinity XR is produced in negative powers from -20.00 to -12.50 D and in positive powers from +8.50 to +15.00 D. Due to the high degree of lens hydration and optimal oxygen permeability, Biofinity XR lenses are recommended for people who have experienced discomfort and drying with previously used lenses.

Biofinity XR lenses are monthly replacement lenses, so proper care is essential. For cleaning and disinfecting them, we especially recommend Clean Active brand care solutions.
